Description: 

The project entitled "Game-based Learning and Gamification Techniques in Education" is an Erasmus+ KA210 project with the project code: 2022-1-EL01-KA210-SCH-00084562.

Through this project the partner organizations aim to provide knowledge, pedagogical approaches, appropriate teaching materials and technical tools to teachers, not only to the partner countries, but throughout Europe.

Teachers from the partner countries will be trained on new trends imposed by modern educational needs and specifically in the methods of game-based learning and the use of gamification in the educational process.

In addition, a digital guide together with a wiki feature will be developed, which will contain all the necessary material that will act as an assistant and an integral tool for teachers in the integration of these methods.

Description: Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιήθηκε διαδικτυακά. Προγραμματίστηκε κατάρτιση των μαθητών του 1ου ΕΠΑ.Λ. Χανίων πάνω στον σύγχρονο αστικό σχεδιασμό ανοικτών χώρων και κτηριών, με σκοπό οι μαθητές να αποκτήσουν τις απαραίτητες δεξιότητες και γνώσεις για την αγορά εργασίας. Στη διάρκεια του προγράμματος, οι μαθητές κλήθηκαν να υλοποιήσουν ένα μικρό project ρομποτικής πάνω στις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας.

Description: The main goal of the project is to enhance the engagement of educators with the AI field, through a multidisciplinary and holistic approach, focusing on technological aspects, regulatory initiatives, and ethical values. The project had the following results:

– Digital Learning Platform for hosting the AI educational program in the form of e-courses.

– Digital Survey for Detecting Training Needs of Educators on AI.

– AI Training Material including (i) a Practical, (ii) a Legal, and (iii) an Ethical AI Roadmap.

Project title: Promoting Entrepreneurship among Young People with Migrant Background, focusing on the Trade of Natural Products

Description:  The NaturalOrigins Project aims to contribute to the facilitation of social inclusion of young people with migrant background through the development of entrepreneurial mindset that will equip them with all the necessary skills and knowledge to establish small-scale businesses that can benefit them on multiple levels. Entrepreneurship among young people of migrant background can offer both financial security and self resilience.

Throughout the lifetime of the project, we plan to create an Entrepreneurship Training Programme focused both on trainers in the field and young people with a migrant background. This training programme will be accessed through an Online Learning Space, a Digital e-learninig platform. At the same time we plan to implement multiple workshops for our aforementioned target groups. Finally, we, also, plan to create some Policy Recommendations in an effort to provide stakeholders and interested parties, including trainers working in the field of social inclusion, NGOs, migrant/refugee associations, local businesses, etc., with a set of detailed recommendations, methods, and tools on the utilisation of entrepreneurial upskilling to foster social inclusion of young people with migrant background and encourage cultural interaction with local communities.

In the proposed project entitled "Training in Inspection and Control of Low Voltage Electronic Installations in accordance with European Standards", students from the 1st Vocational School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Trikala, aged 15-18 years old, attended initial vocational training.

The analytical program of the EPAL in the field of Electrical Engineering does not cover the field of inspection and control of facilities and this program has been an ideal opportunity for students.
The main objectives of this program and the expected results were:

  • To inform students about the procedures required and followed during the inspection and inspection of LV Electrical Installations. (Low Voltage).
  • Inform them of the European Legislation on their subject matter.
  • To gain experience with the practical training that will help them in their professional career and help them in facilitating access to the labor market.
  • Refine to the European regulations regarding the control of LV Electrical Installations.
